Speech Therapy

What does a Speech Pathologist do?
Speech Pathologists can work with people across the lifespan from infants and children to adults. At Perth CDC, we work particularly with children and young adults.

We are able to help with the following difficulties:

  • Pronunciation e.g. your child might say ‘tar’ for ‘car’
  • Using first words
  • Following of instructions
  • Answering questions
  • Sentence structure, vocabulary, and grammar
  • Understanding jokes, and sarcasm
  • Choosing the right emotions to express herself appropriately
  • Reducing or eliminating a stutter
  • Conversation skills
  • Spelling and reading

Know someone with the difficulties above? Be sure to contact one of our friendly staff at the reception to book in a consultation at our Mount Lawley clinic.

No referral is required to see a Speech Therapist. To book an appointment, call us at (08) 6153 4535.
